Entrance of AiFrac



The AiFrac is developed for modelling the three-dimensional fracturing in geological systems. By linking with TOUGH, the TOUGH-AiFrac simulator is able to simulate fracturing with Hydraulic-Mechanical-Thermal (H-M-T) coupling process. This TOUGH-AiFrac contributes to smarter unconventional petroleum production and thermal energy exploitation, while reducing environmental impacts and contributing towards safer field operations.
The DynaETM, originally developed in Imperial College London, is developed to handel the dynamics of multi-bodies with fragmentation using the Energy Tracking Method (ETM). This DynaETM contributes to the analysis of rock fall and block caving in underground mining system.
